This artwork is inspired by my visit to the MET Museum, New York in 2019. A centuries-old brass sculpture of an Indian god, lord Vishnu flying on his mount Garuda.
Coming from a religious family and pray to the Lord Vishnu, the name my father shares. I was amazed seeing the god in this avatar for the very first time in my life. Thousands of miles away from my country. Inspired by that little centuries-old statue, led to the creation of the giagantic 'Garuda Vahana'.
Work is made to order. Please contact me via email for more details.
Chakra (chakra in Sanskrit) means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are thought to be spinning disks of energy that should stay “open” and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being. This is a Madhubani take showing the original forms of chakras in yoga.
This collection is inspired by my work 'the forest'. I have taken some of my favorite elements from 40*60 inches painting and created these decorative pieces for everyone to become part of the forest.

This painting is a depiction of the tree I grew up watching. It's the top view of the tree from inside. The center dot represents the seed of life, mandala details represent the roots ad internal complex system beneath the Earth's surface. The ring stands for the bark representing life span, repetitive patterns represent leaves and the birds are peacocks, whom I adored as a child.
I hope you enjoyed delving into my visual representation of "The Tree in the Neighborhood".
